The Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC)
The Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC), established in 1999, is the only national non-profit in the U.S. to provide live, direct identity crime advice and victim assistance at no cost. It serves as a resource and a voice for victims of identity fraud.
The ITRC’s Advisors provide information on how to protect your information as well as assist victims whose information has been shared through a scam or shared with/taken over by a bad actor. Advisors can also help victims whose accounts have been taken over by someone who is not authorized to have access or if a victim’s personal information has been used by someone else to open a new account. ITRC’s Advisors will help by providing customized plans to address any and all identity concerns.
For more information about Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC), call or text toll-free at 1-888-400-5530 between Monday – Friday, 6 am to 5 pm (PT). If you want to live chat or discuss partnering with them, please visit their website here.
